Since this is a fund-raiser the rules are minimal.
- This is an International Photography Contest and is open to people from India. Minimum age for participation is 8 years.
- Pictures should be resized so that the width is within 1920 pixels and the height is within 1080 pixels.
- The pictures uploaded should be in JPEG format.
- The picture should not contain any added text/image that shows the title, name, logo or other forms of watermark on the face of the picture.
- Pictures submitted must have been clicked and fully owned by the entrant. Pictures taken by others cannot be submitted as your own.
- Pictures of women/men in partial or full nudity that may be inappropriate for view by people of all ages should not be uploaded.
- Please do not submit the same picture multiple times under different sections.
- Members of the Jury shall not participate in the contest.
- Each person can participate under only one identification. Creating multiple log-ins under different emails of the same person is prohibited.
- Pictures can be submitted only through this website. Pictures received through emails, chat or other means will not be considered for the contest.
- The decision of the Panel of Judges is final and binding with respect to selection of pictures for awards. No further appeal questioning the correctness
of decisions will be entertained.
- By participating in the contest the entrant permits Rotary International to reproduce all or part of any of the photographs entered for the contest,
free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to any activities of Rotary International.
- While Rotary International takes all precautions to prevent misuse of pictures submitted to the Contest, Rotary International and International Fellowship
of Rotarian Photographers assume no responsibility related to any misuse of pictures in violation of the copyright held by the owner.

COLOR
You can submit any color picture under this section that conforms to the rules of the contest.
MONOCHROME
Monochrome refers to Black and White pictures with or without single color toning like Sepia. Pictures that appear partially in Black and White
and partially in color should be uploaded under COLOR section.
NATURE
NATURE section should be used for uploading pictures of natural phenomenon that do not have man-made elements. The following types of pictures
can be uploaded under NATURE Section:
- Landscapes, Rivers, Mountains, Beaches, Sunrise, Sunset and other natural formations without houses, boats, electrical towers, buildings
and other types of man-made objects in the picture.
- Non-domesticated animals, birds, fish, reptiles, insects and other forms of life in their natural habitat. Animals/Birds in cages and
fish in tank cannot be uploaded under NATURE section.
- Pictures of all types fllowers without man-made objects like fences, bridges etc.
TRAVEL
TRAVEL pictures refer to photographs of places and people demonstrating the variety of habitats and cultures that human beings have developed.
The following types of pictures can be uploaded under NATURE section:
- Pictures of Cities, Villages, Landmarks, Buildings and other forms of human habitats that can be associated with places of settlement.
- Pictures of people in ethnic dresses, festivals of the land, activities like races, expeditions, climbing etc. that demonstrate the
living styles and culture of people.
GIRL EMPOWERMENT
This section aims to recognize (a) initiatives aimed at empowering girls/women and (b) visual celebration of success in the fields of education,
work, sports, service, business etc. Pictures with emotional story-telling value stand a better chance of winning awards.
